PTI Leader Sher Afzal Marwat Reconciles with Party, Ends Differences

Senior leader Sher Afzal Marwat announced the end of his differences with the party after a meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail.

 

Speaking to the media outside the jail on Saturday, Marwat expressed his satisfaction after meeting Khan for the first time in three months. "We shook hands, and the founder of PTI hugged me," Marwat said, indicating that the reconciliation was heartfelt and genuine.

 

Marwat also mentioned that Barrister Gauhar has been tasked with organizing the upcoming rally on August 22, stating that Gauhar has assured there will be no further internal conflicts within the party. "Today, we are grateful to Sher," Marwat added, acknowledging the unity within the party.

 

He further clarified that his decision to end the differences came after Imran Khan personally assured him that all issues would be resolved. Marwat emphasized his loyalty to PTI, stating, "Only the founder of PTI can expel me." He also apologized for any remarks he had previously made against party leaders, marking a complete reconciliation.

 

This development is seen as a positive step for PTI, as the party continues to navigate through challenging times with a focus on unity and collective action.
