Razia Begum, daughter of Shaheed Allah Bakhsh Soomro, Sindh’s first Prime Minister during the British era, and grandmother of former PM Muhammad Mian Soomro, passes away at 100. Funeral prayers will be held at Eidgah, Jacobabad.

Razia Begum, the daughter of Shaheed Allah Bakhsh Soomro — the first Prime Minister elected after the restoration of Sindh as a state during the British era — has passed away at the age of 100. She was also the grandmother of former Prime Minister Muhammad Mian Soomro.

Razia Begum breathed her last at a private hospital in Karachi. Her body is being transported from Karachi to Jacobabad, where funeral prayers will be offered at the Eidgah. She will be laid to rest in the family's ancestral graveyard.
