Rocket Attack Targets Security Check Post in Tank, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; No Loss of Life

A security check post in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa came under a rocket attack late Friday night, police confirmed. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the assault.

According to initial details shared by the District Police, unknown terrorists fired a rocket at the Luqman check post, located near the Sabir Shah Baba Ziarat area. The rocket caused structural damage to the post, but no injuries or fatalities were reported among security personnel.

Following the attack, the suspects reportedly fled the scene, prompting a swift response by law enforcement. A heavy police contingent was dispatched to the area, and a comprehensive search operation is currently underway to locate the assailants.

Security in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains tense as incidents targeting police and military outposts have increased in recent months. The latest attack highlights the persistent threat posed by militant elements operating in the tribal and bordering regions.
