Second Steering Committee Meeting for IDEAS 2024 Held Under Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah's Chairmanship

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, the second steering committee meeting for IDEAS 2024 was convened, with key stakeholders including provincial ministers, Chief Secretary, DG DEPAO Major General Asad Nawaz, DG Rangers, IG Sindh, Commissioner Karachi, and other officials in attendance.

 

During the meeting, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah highlighted that the 12th International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) will be held in Karachi from November 19 to 22. He underscored the significance of IDEAS as one of Karachi's premier events, bringing together national and international participants.

 

The Chief Minister commended the political and military leadership for their efforts in organizing IDEAS 2024, emphasizing its importance in promoting Pakistan's defense capabilities on a global platform.

 

Major General Asad Nawaz, DG DEPAO, provided an update that more than 50 countries have confirmed their participation in IDEAS 2024, making it the largest defense exhibition in the sub-continent. He expressed gratitude to the Sindh government for its unwavering support in facilitating the event.

 

Furthermore, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah issued directives to ensure cleanliness and enhanced infrastructure in Karachi during the international event, emphasizing the city's preparedness to host dignitaries and delegates from around the world.

 

IDEAS 2024 is anticipated to showcase cutting-edge defense technologies, foster international collaborations, and bolster Pakistan's standing in the global defense industry.
