Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has reviewed the one-year performance of his government, stating that significant progress has been made in governance, digital transformation, and public welfare projects.
Speaking at a press briefing, the Sindh CM noted that his government has focused on digitization in governance and has launched various initiatives aimed at public welfare. He highlighted the Sindh Hari Card, an initiative launched by Bilawal Bhutto, under which more than Rs. 10 billion has been distributed to over 100,000 farmers in the past year.
Additionally, Shah emphasized the launch of the People’s Information Technology Program, which has helped 11,071 students graduate from three universities, along with the creation of three new IT portals.
Regarding infrastructure and flood rehabilitation, he highlighted the Sindh People's Housing for Flood Affectees as a flagship project. He also mentioned ongoing development projects in Karachi, the establishment of an agricultural research center in Ghotki, and the use of drones for digital mapping of villages.
Murad Ali Shah concluded by stating that his government has achieved as much as possible in the past year and remains committed to the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in advancing Sindh’s development.
