Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, has taken a firm stand against the United States. In a pointed statement on X (formerly Twitter), he accused President Donald Trump of living in a "delusion" by trying to use military pressure and economic blockades as leverage. Ghalibaf made it clear that Iran will not come to the table if the environment is one of threats and surrender. He warned that if the U.S. continues its "warmongering" tactics, Iran is ready to play "new cards on the battlefield" that have been prepared over the last two weeks.
