Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, held a significant meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to discuss key issues concerning Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach and security situation. The delegation accompanying Bilawal included prominent leaders Senator Sherry Rehman and former Federal Minister Hina Rabbani Khar.

During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari provided detailed updates on recent contacts with various countries and the comprehensive briefing he delivered at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Foreign Secretary Amina Baloch is scheduled to brief the diplomatic committee once again today, underlining the importance of coordinated foreign policy efforts.

A major focus of the discussion was the current internal and external security environment of Pakistan. Bilawal sought the Prime Minister’s guidance on how to effectively highlight Pakistan’s stance in key international capitals and present a clear narrative on India’s aggression and provocative activities on the global stage.

Expressing gratitude, the former Foreign Minister thanked Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif for his trust in national diplomatic work and for entrusting him with the leadership of the Pakistani delegation. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that under Bilawal’s leadership, the delegation would successfully articulate Pakistan’s position to the international community in a comprehensive and impactful manner.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Climate Change Mosaddiq Malik, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi.

This high-level consultation highlights the government’s commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s diplomatic presence globally while addressing critical security challenges at home and abroad.
