2 Journalists Injured in Dadu Press Club Shooting; Attacker Killed

A violent incident unfolded outside the Dadu Press Club on Tuesday as an armed individual opened fire, injuring two local journalists. The attacker was shot dead in police retaliatory fire, officials confirmed.

According to Dadu Police, the assailant, identified as Muhammad Ali Khaskheli, suddenly began firing at people gathered in front of the press club. Niaz Chandio and Rafiq Ahmed, both affiliated with local media outlets, sustained gunshot wounds in the attack.

Law enforcement officers deployed nearby responded swiftly, engaging the suspect in retaliatory fire that resulted in his death at the scene.

The injured journalists were quickly shifted to a local hospital for medical treatment, and their condition is said to be stable, according to hospital sources.
