A tragic incident occurred at the Zero Point of the Dera Allah Yar Bypass in Jaffarabad, where a 12-year-old child lost his life and another was seriously injured following a powerful explosion on Thursday.

According to police officials, both children were working near the bypass when the blast occurred, causing severe injuries. Rescue teams and law enforcement personnel immediately reached the site and shifted the injured child to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Authorities have cordoned off the area and summoned the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) to determine the nature and source of the explosion. Initial reports suggest that the blast was powerful enough to be heard across nearby areas, spreading panic among locals.

Police have launched a formal investigation to ascertain whether the explosion was caused by a planted device or another source. Officials have vowed to bring those responsible to justice once the facts are established.

This tragic incident adds to the growing security concerns in Balochistan, where sporadic acts of violence and explosions have caused fear among residents.
