RAWALPINDI – Army Chief General Asim Munir reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to honoring martyrs during an awards ceremony held at the General Headquarters (GHQ). The ceremony saw the presentation of Sitara-e-Imtiaz Military and Tamgha-e-Bisalat awards to officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army.

Addressing the audience, General Asim Munir highlighted the unwavering importance of respecting the martyrs and their sacrifices for the freedom and peace that Pakistan enjoys today.

“Martyrs and Ghazis are our pride,” the Army Chief said. “Respect for martyrs is sacred for every Pakistani, and their sacrifices are the foundation of today’s peace and freedom.”
