Army Deployment Ordered Nationwide for Muharram Security

The Federal Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an order under Article 245 for the deployment of the army across all provinces, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan during Muharram. The decision comes following recommendations from provincial governments to ensure peace and order during the holy month.

 

According to the decree issued, provincial governments will collaborate with relevant authorities to determine the dates and number of military units to be deployed. This strategic move aims to enhance security measures across the country, particularly in sensitive areas where large gatherings are expected during Muharram.
