Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces and Field Marshal Asim Munir held a meeting with Prince Khalid bin Salman, the Defence Minister of Saudi Arabia, during a visit to the kingdom where both sides discussed the evolving regional security situation.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting focused on the security challenges arising from recent drone and missile attacks attributed to Iran.
During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged views on measures under the Strategic Defence Agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia aimed at preventing such attacks and strengthening regional stability.

According to the military’s media wing, the discussion also highlighted the importance of diplomatic engagement and cooperation among friendly nations to resolve conflicts peacefully.
Both sides expressed hope that Iran would demonstrate prudence and wisdom in handling the situation and adopt a cautious approach that could help de-escalate tensions in the region.
