ATC Grants Bail to PTI’s Dr. Yasmin Rashid in Mughalpura Police Vehicles Case

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid in case number 1570/23, related to the burning of police vehicles at Mughalpura police station.

The bail decision was issued by ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gul, who also ordered Dr. Rashid to submit a surety bond of Rs 100,000.

Dr. Rashid has also filed bail applications in three other related cases, including the Askari Tower attack and the incident of burning police vehicles near Jinnah House. The hearings for these applications have been adjourned until November 25.

It is notable that Dr. Yasmin Rashid has already been convicted in four other cases linked to the events of May 9, during which violence erupted in various parts of Lahore and other cities.

The development comes amid ongoing political tensions surrounding PTI leaders, as multiple cases from May 9 continue to move through the legal system.
