ATC Orders Jail to Provide Books, Allow Imran Khan to Speak to Children

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has ruled in favor of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, directing jail authorities to provide him with books and facilitate communication with his children before Eid.

The court was hearing a case regarding complaints that Imran Khan was being denied books in jail and was not allowed to speak with his children.

Following the hearing, the ATC approved both petitions filed on behalf of the former prime minister, stating that books should be provided to him immediately.

Court’s Directives:

🔹 Provision of Books: The court ordered that Imran Khan should receive books of his choice in jail without any unnecessary delay.

🔹 Call with Children: The court emphasized that Eid is a religious festival, and the PTI founder should be allowed to speak with his children before the occasion.

🔹 Implementation: The jail authorities have been instructed to ensure the immediate implementation of the orders.

The ruling marks another significant development in Imran Khan’s legal battles, as he remains incarcerated following multiple cases filed against him.
