POLITICS & POLICY MAKING

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, has confirmed that PTI's protest, led by Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan, is scheduled for November 24, with preparations already in place. The CM stated that this protest would continue without returning until their demands are met, signaling PTI’s firm stance in the ongoing political battle.
Gandapur, while addressing the closing ceremony of a nationwide sports competition, emphasized that the youth of Pakistan must face challenges with determination and high morale. He encouraged the youth to work hard and take opportunities that will shape them into strong individuals capable of building a prosperous nation.
During his speech, the CM also announced a reward of 50,000 rupees for each team participating in the competition. He stressed the importance of investing in girls' education, calling them the country’s greatest assets. The KP government, according to Gandapur, is committed to providing all facilities to children, particularly girls, to help them realize their dreams and contribute to the development of the country.
Later, speaking to the media, Gandapur provided more details about the upcoming protest. He confirmed that Aleema Khan had announced the date of the protest and that PTI was fully prepared for the march on Islamabad. The Chief Minister made it clear that the protest would not end until their demands are met.
Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, has been vocal about the issues surrounding the 2024 elections and political freedoms, and the planned protest on November 24 aims to address these concerns. PTI's legal team, including Advocate Faisal Chaudhry, has also confirmed the date for the Islamabad march.
