FBR Fixes Subscription & Goods Declaration Fees for Pakistan Single Window

The federal government has finalized the subscription and renewal fees for Pakistan Single Window (PSW) services, according to a notification issued by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Under the new guidelines, the PSW and SECP verification fee has been set at Rs 500 for users. This fee applies to all businesses registering or renewing their accounts under the PSW platform.

Additionally, the FBR has introduced a structured goods declaration fee that will be charged based on the value of imported or exported goods. Goods valued up to Rs 50,000 will not incur any charges. For goods valued between Rs 50,000 and Rs 100,000, a fee of Rs 500 will be applicable. Goods worth between Rs 100,000 and Rs 750,000 will attract a fee of Rs 1,000. The fee increases to Rs 1,250 for goods valued between Rs 750,000 and Rs 10 million, Rs 1,500 for goods between Rs 10 million and Rs 2.5 million, and Rs 2,000 for goods worth over Rs 2.5 million.

The PSW initiative, designed to facilitate trade and simplify regulatory processes, integrates services from multiple government agencies and aims to provide a single-window system for all importers and exporters.

FBR officials said the move is part of ongoing efforts to streamline trade procedures, enhance transparency, and improve ease of doing business in Pakistan.
