Following the funeral prayers, the body of Captain Ilyas Faraz was transported to his hometown of Chunian in Khaki. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, federal ministers, military officials, Corps Commander Peshawar, serving officers, youth, and a large number of civilians.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs and took part in the funeral of Captain Faraz Ilyas. Addressing the family, the Prime Minister emphasized, "Allah grants martyrdom to whom He wills. The blood of Captain Faraz will not be in vain. The Quran testifies that the martyrs are alive. We will completely eliminate the enemies of Pakistan."

In honor of Captain Faraz Ilyas, the Prime Minister announced that the village of Captain Faraz Ilyas will be named after him.

The bodies of the other martyred officers and soldiers were also sent to their native areas, where they were buried with full military honors.

ISPR reaffirmed the commitment of Pakistan's security forces to eradicate terrorism, stating that the sacrifices of these brave martyrs further strengthen their resolve.

It should be noted that seven soldiers, including a captain of the Pakistan Army, were martyred in an IED blast on a security forces vehicle in Lucky Marwat yesterday.
