POLITICS & POLICY MAKING
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi warned Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur that playing on both sides of the political divide would lead to trouble.
Speaking to the media in DI Khan, Kundi accused Gandapur of being involved in questionable practices, including the alleged misappropriation of funds from the Chief Minister's House and selling government jobs. Kundi emphasized the dire financial state of the province's universities, revealing that many institutions were struggling to pay salaries.
"As long as I am the governor, I will not allow even an inch of university land to be sold," Kundi declared, underscoring his commitment to preventing any further financial mismanagement.
Addressing Gandapur directly, the governor added:
"There will be trouble if you continue to play on both sides of the wicket."
Kundi's comments signal rising political tensions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with the governor calling out the chief minister’s handling of provincial issues. The allegations of corruption and financial mismanagement are likely to add fuel to ongoing political debates in the region.
