Imran Khan Rejects Negotiations with Establishment; Stresses PTI's Strength

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has firmly rejected any negotiations with Pakistan's establishment, clarifying through his legal team that he has not authorized anyone to engage in such talks. In a statement released on X, Khan emphasized that he has never entered into any agreement in the past and would not entertain such ideas now.

"If I had been interested in entering into an agreement, I would have accepted the offer made two years ago, which proposed complete immunity from legal action in exchange for two years of silence," Imran Khan wrote. He added that he had rejected this offer previously and continues to stand by his decision.

Khan’s statement also addressed Ali Amin Gandapur and Azam Swati, who were reported to have shown interest in negotiations. Khan said, "Ali Amin Gandapur and Azam Swati may have expressed their desire for negotiations, but in my opinion, such negotiations are meaningless. The opposing side has no interest in resolving the issues."

The PTI founder emphasized that while talks have never been closed, any future discussions should be based on the supremacy of the constitution, the rule of law, and the interests of the people, not for personal reasons or to protect him and his wife.

Key Points:

  • Imran Khan rejects any negotiations with the establishment, reiterating his stance from two years ago.
  • Khan rejects the offer of immunity in exchange for silence, which he had previously turned down.
  • Ali Amin Gandapur and Azam Swati may have expressed interest in negotiations, but Khan considers them meaningless.
  • PTI’s strength lies in its nationwide support; any political weakness occurs when public support wanes.

Khan’s statement further reinforced the idea that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is the only truly national political force that can mobilize a nationwide movement independently, emphasizing that national support is the party’s true strength.
