LEGAL
Rawalpindi: Aleema Khan, the sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, has expressed confidence that her brother will prove his innocence by facing the legal challenges against him. Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan addressed questions about Imran Khan’s current legal battles, asserting that he is committed to clearing his name through the legal process.
According to Aleema Khan, Imran Khan has made it clear that he would not agree to house arrest, and that if he must remain in jail, he will do so while facing his cases. “Imran Khan will prove himself innocent by facing his cases and then come out,” she added.
Imran Khan’s Views on Economic Stability
Aleema Khan also shared her brother's views on the path to stabilizing Pakistan's economy. Imran Khan has stressed the need for three key elements for economic recovery: rule of law, political stability, and peace. These, according to Khan, are essential to ensure lasting stability in the country’s economic landscape.
Her statement reflects the ongoing political and legal turmoil surrounding Imran Khan and his party, PTI, as the founder’s legal team continues to address the cases against him.
