POLITICS & POLICY MAKING

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) spokesperson Aslam Ghauri has strongly criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, accusing him of attempting to create divisions within the opposition alliance to protect his government.
In a statement on Friday, Ghauri described Gandapur as the “guru” of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and claimed that he was disregarding Imran Khan’s directives by slandering Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Internal Conspiracies Threatening PTI
✔️ Ghauri warned that PTI is facing internal conspiracies rather than external threats.
✔️ He alleged that Gandapur’s remarks against Fazlur Rehman were an attempt to disrupt the formation of a Grand Opposition Alliance.
✔️ The government and undemocratic forces would benefit from this discord, he added.
“The opposition Grand Alliance should not be mistaken for weakness. Whenever the alliance nears formation, conspiratorial elements start their work,” Ghauri remarked.
PTI Asked to Clarify Stance on Scholars
✔️ Ghauri criticized Gandapur’s alleged mockery of religious scholars, calling it an insult that will not be tolerated.
✔️ He demanded that PTI clarify whether Gandapur’s statements reflect party policy.
✔️ He urged PTI leadership to keep an eye on internal conspirators.
The statement reflects the growing political tension between JUI-F and PTI, particularly as opposition parties attempt to unite against the ruling government.
