Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan’s stance is now being effectively presented on key national and international issues. He added that the country is entering 2026 with honor and pride, reflecting improved governance and policy direction.
“A building has started to be constructed on the ruins left by the previous government,” the defence minister remarked, indicating gradual recovery and stability after a challenging period.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani said that the positive words spoken about Pakistan at diplomatic and international forums represent a major victory for the country. He said Pakistan’s narrative is gaining strength globally due to improved diplomacy.
Separately, Senior Minister of Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon termed it good news for Pakistan that the country has regained international recognition. He credited the current policies and the leadership of the Army Chief for restoring Pakistan’s standing on the world stage.
The statements come amid government claims of improved international engagement and growing diplomatic support for Pakistan’s position on global and regional matters.
