Kidnapping Case Takes a Twist: Dua Shamaila Alleges Voluntary Departure and Marriage

A purported kidnapping case in Larkana involving eighth-grade student Dua Shamaila has taken an unexpected turn following a video statement released by Shamaila herself. In the video, Shamaila asserts that she willingly traveled to Balochistan and married Waseem Brohi, dismissing allegations of abduction and urging authorities not to mistreat those accused in the case.

Shamaila Brohi, also known as Nari Dua Brohi, directly accuses her mother, Rafat Yasmin, of mistreatment and claims that she left her home of her own volition due to alleged abuse. She further states that her decision to marry Waseem Brohi was made independently.

"I came to Balochistan and got married to Waseem Brohi. No one kidnapped me," Shamaila asserted in the video statement. She expressed concern for her husband's safety, explaining his absence from the video.

"If anything happens to me, my mother Rafat Yasmin and Akhtar Abra will be responsible for it," Shamaila warned, addressing the seriousness of her allegations against her family.

In response to the unfolding situation, Shamaila Brohi appealed to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) to release those arrested in connection with the case, emphasizing their innocence regarding her alleged abduction.

The case has sparked controversy and raised questions about the initial narrative of abduction and subsequent investigations. Authorities are expected to delve deeper into Shamaila's claims and reassess the circumstances surrounding the case.

The developments in Shamaila's case highlight the complexities often involved in alleged kidnapping incidents and underscore the importance of thorough investigations to uncover the truth.
