Omar Ayub, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, has strongly criticized the government’s claims of reducing inflation, labeling them as “lies.” Speaking to the media, Ayub asserted that inflation is not decreasing as claimed, but in fact, it continues to rise.

·       Inflation Continues to Rise: In a press briefing, Ayub rejected the government's statements on inflation, stating that the price hikes are only worsening the situation for the common people. He argued that despite the government’s assurances, there has been no relief for citizens.

·       Release of PTI Leaders: Omar Ayub called for the release of Shah Mehmood Qureshi and other prominent PTI leaders. He emphasized that a judicial commission should be formed to investigate the events of May 9 and November 24, incidents that continue to stir political controversy.
