Pakistan has called on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to break its silence on the ongoing crisis in Gaza and take decisive action to hold Israel accountable for its violations of international law.

Pakistan’s Strong Stance at UNSC Meeting

During a UN Security Council meeting convened to discuss the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar, delivered a firm statement condemning Israel’s actions in Gaza. The meeting was called by Algeria with the support of Pakistan, Russia, China, and Somalia.
