At the 83rd Formation Commanders' Conference held at the General Headquarters, Pakistan’s military leadership, chaired by Chief of Army Staff Gen Asim Munir, pledged to comprehensively defeat the threat of "digital terrorism." The conference, attended by corps commanders, principal staff officers, and formation commanders, focused on geostrategic dynamics and national security.

A press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) highlighted concerns over digital terrorism, which allegedly aims to induce despondency among the Pakistani nation and sow discord among its institutions. The forum emphasized that the nation is aware of these nefarious motives and is determined to thwart them.

The military leaders also addressed continuous cross-border terrorist attacks from Afghan soil and underscored the importance of socio-economic development in Balochistan and the Newly Merged Districts (NMDs) to counter extremist narratives. The conference expressed solidarity with Palestinians and Kashmiris, condemning human rights violations and supporting their struggles.

COAS Gen Munir briefed the attendees on regional geostrategic dynamics and the army's strategy to counter multifaceted threats. The forum also discussed technological innovations for modernizing the army and praised the high morale and operational readiness of the troops.
