The Pakistan Navy has successfully conducted a test of an indigenously developed anti-ship ballistic missile, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Tuesday. The missile is designed to strike both sea and land targets with high precision, marking a significant milestone in Pakistan’s defence capabilities.

According to the ISPR, the test flight was closely observed by Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, along with senior scientists and engineers involved in the project. The missile demonstrated excellent guidance and advanced features, highlighting Pakistan’s growing technical expertise in missile development.

The ISPR statement described the successful test as a testament to the Pakistan Navy’s strong commitment to safeguarding national interests. President, Prime Minister, Field Marshal, and the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee have all congratulated the participating units and scientists for the achievement. Similarly, the Services Chiefs commended the teams for this important demonstration of capability.
