Pakistan’s security forces killed 15 Indian-backed Khawarij militants in two separate operations conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on November 15 and 16, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.

The operations were carried out following credible intelligence regarding the presence of Al-Khawarij militants in the region. The first operation took place in the Kalachi area of Dera Ismail Khan, while the second targeted hideouts in the Datakhel area of North Waziristan.

According to the ISPR, the operations successfully targeted terrorist hideouts, eliminating 10 militants in Kalachi and 5 in Datakhel. The operation in Kalachi also resulted in the killing of the group’s leader, Alam Mehsud.

The Pakistan Army’s Public Relations Department stated that clearance operations are ongoing to eradicate Indian-sponsored Khawarij militants from the area. Officials emphasized that the anti-terrorism campaign will continue until foreign-sponsored terrorism is completely eliminated.

These operations underscore Pakistan’s continued commitment to national security and efforts to eliminate terrorism from its borders.
