PM Shahbaz Welcomes Dissolution of Kurdish Militant Group, Calls it Historic Step for Peace

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has warmly welcomed the dissolution of the Kurdish militant group, Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), terming the announcement as historic and a reflection of the unwavering resolve of Turkey’s leadership in the fight against terrorism.

In a statement, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif emphasized that the dissolution of the PKK, a group long associated with violence and instability in Turkey, will help eliminate terrorism and pave the way for lasting peace in the country. He praised the determination of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people towards unity, reconstruction, and stability.

Prime Minister Sharif expressed strong support for Turkey's efforts, stating:
