PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Welcomes Possible Response to Imran Khan’s Letter

Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar has stated that the party will welcome a response to the six-point letter reportedly written by Imran Khan to the Army Chief.

In an interview with Geo News, Barrister Gohar mentioned that while he has not yet read the letter himself, Imran Khan personally read out its contents and emphasized the importance of the sacrifices made by the armed forces.

"If there is a response from the army, we will welcome it," Barrister Gohar said.

Clarification on Military Contact
When asked about communication with military leadership, Barrister Gohar clarified that there had been a meeting related solely to public order and no other engagements.

Background of the Letter
Imran Khan’s six-point letter to the Army Chief reportedly covers:

  1. Allegations of fraudulent elections.
  2. The 26th Constitutional Amendment and its impact on the rule of law.
  3. The Al-Qadir Trust case decision.
  4. Security concerns, including raids and firing against PTI workers.
  5. Intelligence agency operations.
  6. A request for policy reforms.

The letter comes after a previous correspondence by Imran Khan to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
