PTI Leaders Condemn Imran Khan’s Polygraph Test as Insult

The central leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has strongly condemned the decision to subject their founder, Imran Khan, to a polygraph test, terming it an insult to the former prime minister.

Sheikh Waqas Akram, a senior PTI leader, criticized the government for delaying the appointment of a new Chief Election Commissioner despite formal requests from opposition leaders in both the National Assembly and Senate, including Omar Ayub and Shibli Faraz. He emphasized that the attempt to conduct a polygraph test on Imran Khan is deeply humiliating and unacceptable.

Meanwhile, PTI’s Asad Qaiser clarified that no decision has been finalized regarding a no-confidence motion against the National Assembly Speaker. He asserted that the party remains united in its efforts to bring all political factions together for the country’s benefit. He reiterated that the idea of subjecting Imran Khan to a polygraph test is a disgrace and undermines democratic norms.

The PTI leadership rejected rumors of any secret negotiations or backdoor deals, emphasizing transparency in their political strategy.
