PTI Plans Full-Scale Anti-Government Movement, to Push for Imran Khan’s Release

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has resolved to initiate a full-scale anti-government protest movement aimed at securing the release of its founder, former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

A high-level meeting was convened under the chairmanship of PTI’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial President Junaid Akbar, attended by party presidents and general secretaries from all four provinces, including Azad Kashmir. The meeting reviewed ongoing preparations and future strategies for the movement against the current government.

The party’s political committee was entrusted with the authority to announce the formal date for launching the protests. Party sources reveal that this announcement will be made following consultations within the committee over the coming days.

Additionally, the party plans to hold consultative meetings at divisional levels soon to mobilize grassroots support.

The meeting was reportedly called on the direct instructions of PTI founder Imran Khan.
