Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has formally requested permission to hold a public rally in Karachi on the occasion of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s visit.
A letter seeking permission for the rally, scheduled for Sunday, January 11, was sent to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) East by PTI Karachi President Raja Azhar and Secretary General Arsalan Khalid. The proposed venue is Bagh Jinnah, adjacent to the Quaid-e-Azam’s Mausoleum.
In the letter, PTI emphasized that the rally would be peaceful and that all code-of-conduct guidelines would be strictly followed. The party expressed hope for a positive response from the district administration regarding the request.
The rally is part of PTI’s ongoing political activities and engagement with its supporters in Karachi.
