Sanghar Shooting: Son Kills Mother, Two Sisters, and Brother-in-Law Over Marriage Dispute

A heartbreaking incident unfolded in the limits of the Jhol police station, where a young man reportedly shot and killed four members of his own family after they refused to arrange a marriage of his choice. The victims include his mother, Kanka, two sisters, Dhadki and Radha, and his brother-in-law, Rejhu.

According to police reports, the accused expressed a desire to marry within his community, but family members opposed this arrangement, as the Bhil community traditionally does not permit intra-community marriages. DSP Parvez Akhtar stated that the young man’s frustration with his family's refusal led to the tragic outcome, resulting in the shooting of his mother and sisters.

Authorities have since transported the bodies to a local hospital for post-mortem examinations. Meanwhile, the DSP confirmed that law enforcement is actively conducting raids to apprehend the accused, who remains at large following the incident.

This shocking event highlights the potential for domestic conflicts to escalate tragically when cultural and societal norms collide with personal desires. Police are urging anyone with information about the suspect to come forward to aid in the investigation.
