Tightened Security Around Adiala Jail as Search Operation Takes Place

In light of an ongoing search operation, police have significantly tightened security around Adiala Jail, setting up additional checkpoints and roadblocks. Authorities have installed containers along roads leading to the jail and are conducting searches of vehicles passing through the area.

Family Visits to Imran Khan Amid Security Measures

Today marks a scheduled day for family meetings inside the jail, with several individuals, including Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan, leaving for the prison to visit the PTI founder. Despite the tight security measures, Aleema Khan’s car was stopped by police about 2 kilometers away from the jail. However, she was allowed to proceed after showing the police the court orders permitting her to meet her brother, Imran Khan.

Other family members, including Qasim Khan, Uzma Khan, and Noreen Niazi, have also left for Adiala Jail to visit Imran Khan during this allotted family meeting time.

Stringent Security Protocols

The police's decision to install roadblocks and check vehicles is part of heightened security protocols surrounding the ongoing operation at Adiala Jail. Officials have emphasized that the public's safety remains a priority, and searches will continue until the operation concludes.
