Trump Confirms Meeting with Saudi Crown Prince, F-35 Sale and Ibrahimi Accords on Agenda

US President Donald Trump confirmed on Air Force One that he will meet with the Saudi Crown Prince next week, describing the meeting as “more than just a meeting.”

During the press briefing, Trump highlighted that Saudi Arabia is seeking to purchase a large number of F-35 fighter jets along with other advanced military aircraft. “Saudi Arabia wants to buy many aircraft, the US makes the best aircraft and the best missiles in the world,” the president said.

The meeting is also expected to cover regional security agreements, including the Ibrahimi Accords. Trump expressed hope that Saudi Arabia would soon join these agreements, which aim to strengthen regional peace and cooperation in the Middle East.

The discussions signal deepening military and strategic ties between the US and Saudi Arabia, with the potential F-35 deal representing one of the largest US arms sales in recent years. Analysts say the talks could have wide-ranging implications for regional security and US-Saudi relations.
