Trump Slams UK, France Over Iran War, Warns US Won’t Offer Unconditional Support

Donald Trump has sharply criticized United Kingdom and France for not supporting the United States in the ongoing conflict with Iran, warning that Washington may reconsider its role in assisting allies.

In a series of remarks posted on social media, Trump accused Britain of refusing to participate in efforts aimed at toppling the Iranian government, while also criticizing France for not allowing aircraft carrying military equipment to Israel to pass through its airspace.

Trump expressed frustration over what he described as a lack of cooperation from key European allies, stating that France had been “very unhelpful” regarding the situation in Iran.

The US president also issued a stark message to countries affected by disruptions in oil supplies due to tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global energy route. He suggested that nations should purchase jet fuel from the United States, emphasizing that America has ample supply.

“If not, they should have the courage to go to the Strait and secure their own oil,” Trump said, signaling a shift toward a more transactional approach in US foreign policy.

Trump further warned that the United States would no longer extend unconditional support to other countries, stating that nations must be prepared to defend themselves.

“America will no longer be there to help you. You will have to learn to fight yourselves,” he said, adding that allies who did not support the US during the conflict should not expect continued assistance.

The president also claimed that Iran had been “essentially destroyed,” suggesting that the most difficult phase of the conflict was over, although no independent verification of this claim has been provided.

Trump’s remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, with ongoing military activity and disruptions to key shipping routes raising global concerns over energy security and regional stability.

The comments are likely to further strain relations between the United States and its European allies, particularly at a time when coordinated international responses are seen as critical to managing the escalating crisis.
