TTP Commander Killed, Policeman Martyred in KP Clashes

A banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander was killed, and a policeman was martyred in separate incidents involving security forces and terrorists in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

TTP Commander Killed in Hangu

In an exchange of fire in Hangu, TTP commander Saeed was neutralized, while his accomplice managed to escape. Security forces are conducting a search operation to track down the fleeing terrorist.

Policeman Martyred in South Waziristan

A police official posted at Imran Police Line, Wana, was martyred in a targeted attack in Tora Gola, South Waziristan, according to District Police Officer (DPO) Wana.

Terrorist Attacks in Tank and DI Khan

  • Attack on Police Post in Tank:
    • Terrorists attacked a police post near Durand Gate, but the attackers fled after security forces retaliated.
  • CTD & Police Operation in DI Khan:
    • One terrorist was killed in a joint Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and police operation in Ratta Kalachi, Dera Ismail Khan.

Terrorist Hideouts Destroyed in Karak

  • In a separate operation in the Bahadur Khel mountain range, Karak, CTD and security forces destroyed multiple terrorist hideouts, dealing a major blow to militant activities in the region.

Authorities have intensified security operations to counter the rising terrorist threat in KP, with a focus on neutralizing militant networks across the province.
