Two security personnel were martyred, and two others sustained injuries when their vehicle was targeted by a roadside bomb in the hilly area of Salarzai tehsil on Friday evening.

According to sources, the attack took place in Bar Malasaid locality around 6 PM, just before Iftar. The improvised explosive device (IED) detonated near the vehicle, causing severe damage.

Immediate Response

The explosion resulted in two soldiers embracing martyrdom on the spot, while two others were wounded. The injured personnel were quickly shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Security forces and police immediately launched a search operation in the area to trace those responsible for the attack. However, as of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
