The news comes amidst heightened tensions in the region, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warning of increased Russian aggression and expressing gratitude to France for its support. Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron has condemned what he perceives as a "spirit of defeat" regarding Ukraine's defensive efforts, emphasizing the need for a proactive stance against aggression.

 

President Macron's denouncement of pacifism coincided with discussions about establishing a coalition of military instructors for Ukraine, a move that could shape the course of the conflict.
