POLITICS & POLICY MAKING
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, speaking from Adiala Jail, has clarified that he is not involved in the controversy surrounding General (R) Faiz Hameed, labeling it as an internal Army issue. Khan criticized General Bajwa, claiming that Bajwa's decision to remove Faiz Hameed was driven by a personal agenda to secure an extension. Imran Khan also suggested that the internal Army accountability process should address all individuals involved, including those linked to the May 9 events, which he believes are connected to his arrest. Khan further alleged that General Faiz Hameed, who had strong ties with the Taliban, was unfairly dismissed to facilitate Bajwa's extension, contributing to the current surge in terrorism.
