A significant operation carried out by Pakistan's security forces in Zhob district, Balochistan, led to the killing of 15 foreigners, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The operation was based on intelligence inputs that suggested terrorist activities in the region.

An exchange of fire ensued between the security forces and the suspects, which resulted in the deaths of the foreign nationals. One soldier of the Pakistan Army, Arif-ur-Rehman, also lost his life during the operation while bravely engaging in the firefight.

During the operation, arms, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the slain militants, who were identified as Khawarij, a term used for foreign fighters linked to extremist groups. The authorities are continuing a clearance operation in the area to eliminate any remaining terrorist elements.

A spokesperson for the Pakistan Army reiterated the forces' commitment to eradicating terrorism and securing the country. “The sacrifices made by our soldiers in this operation only serve to strengthen our resolve in the fight against terrorism,” the spokesperson said.
