Major Gains in Counter-Terrorism

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), 18 terrorists were neutralized in KP, while 25 were killed in Balochistan. The operations have dealt a significant blow to terrorist networks operating within the country.

In a high-profile intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in Lakki Marwat on the night of December 12 and 13, security forces successfully targeted a terrorist hideout, killing six foreign terrorists.

Additionally, two separate operations were conducted in the Musakhel and Panjgur districts of Balochistan, leading to the elimination of 10 terrorists.

The ISPR noted that these operations were part of an ongoing campaign to dismantle terrorist networks and restore peace in Pakistan.

Recent Successes in Balochistan

Balochistan has seen a surge in counter-terrorism operations, with 25 terrorists neutralized since the start of December. The province, often targeted by terrorist groups due to its strategic importance, remains a critical focus for Pakistan's security forces.

Security Forces' Resolve

The Pakistan Army spokesperson reiterated the nation's commitment to eradicating terrorism:
“The security forces are determined to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from our beloved homeland. Operations will continue until the complete eradication of Fitna-ul-Khawarij and the full restoration of peace.”
