Legal Proceedings Against Afaq Ahmed

🔹 Two previous cases under the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) were registered against Afaq Ahmed at the Landhi and Awami Colony police stations.
🔹 After securing bail in both ATA cases, he was re-arrested by Surjani police in the tanker burning case while still in Central Jail Karachi.
🔹 With bail now granted in this latest case, Ahmed is set to be released today, according to his lawyer Javed Chhatari Advocate.

Ahmed’s arrest and legal battles have been closely watched, given his political past and MQM-H’s role in Karachi’s political landscape. His release may impact the city’s political climate in the coming days.
