Aleema Khan Denies Imran Khan's Deteriorating Health, Says He is Fine

Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, has dismissed rumors regarding the deteriorating health of the PTI founder, stating that there is no truth to the claims. Speaking to the media after meeting Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan confirmed that her brother is in good health, receiving the necessary facilities in his cell, and remains steadfast despite the pressures he is facing.

Imran Khan’s Health Status

Aleema Khan emphasized that her family had recently met Imran Khan and confirmed that his health was fine. She noted that despite the pressures placed on him, Imran Khan has made it clear that he will not give in to any deals. “There is no truth in the reports of his health deteriorating. He is healthy,” she said.

Bushra Bibi's Solitary Confinement

However, Aleema Khan raised concerns about the condition of her sister-in-law, Bushra Bibi, stating that she has been kept in solitary confinement. Aleema Khan revealed that she was not allowed to meet Bushra Bibi during her visit, with the jail administration citing an order prohibiting such a meeting.

Obstacles Faced by the Family

Aleema Khan shared her frustration with the obstacles her family faced while trying to visit Imran Khan. The family car was reportedly stopped two kilometers before reaching Adiala Jail, with lawyers, including Salman Akram Raja and Advocate General KP, being blocked as well. The family was forced to wait for 50 minutes before they were granted permission to proceed.

“The jail rules and court orders seem to have no value here,” Aleema Khan said, questioning the arbitrary decisions of the authorities. She also addressed the circulating news about Imran Khan, claiming that any statements attributed to her were fabricated. “The screenshot attributed to me is fake. If anyone claims otherwise, they should bring the evidence to court,” she added.

Family and Legal Team’s Remarks

Salman Akram Raja, one of the lawyers in the case, expressed his discontent with the delay in meeting Imran Khan, although he welcomed the fact that family members were finally allowed to visit. “It’s childish to block roads and prevent meetings, thinking that it will pressure Imran Khan. The PTI founder will not succumb to such tactics,” said Salman Akram Raja.

Despite these challenges, the family remains firm in their support for Imran Khan, underscoring that no amount of pressure will deter him from his stance.
