Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, said on Tuesday that during his jail trial, the former prime minister reported vision problems and changes in his eyesight.
Speaking to the media at the Marble Factory checkpoint near Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan said that until Salman Safdar’s release, they were uncertain whether a meeting with the founder of PTI had taken place. She added that Salman Safdar confirmed Imran Khan was “fine” but did not provide details due to his Supreme Court obligations.
Aleema Khan noted that Imran Khan had reported blurred vision in August. During the trial, he mentioned that he was now using eye drops and had changed the prescription of his glasses.
She stressed that just as ordinary people consult expert doctors for health issues, the founder of PTI should also be treated by specialists. “In the presence of Dr. Faisal Sultan and Dr. Asim Yousaf, an expert doctor should diagnose and treat the founder of PTI’s disease,” she said.
Aleema Khan questioned why Imran Khan should be denied proper treatment and emphasized the need for expert medical care.
