The participants reviewed the prevailing internal and external security environment, emphasizing the evolving threats facing Pakistan and the armed forces’ operational preparedness to counter them effectively. The forum categorically rejected any nexus between terrorism, crime, and political interests, stressing that such elements would be dealt with decisively and without compromise.
The army chief lauded the successful intelligence-based counter-terrorism operations conducted across the country and appreciated the steadfast efforts of the armed forces in maintaining peace and stability. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir emphasized that with coordinated efforts between the government and the Pakistan Army, the country is gradually moving toward stability. He noted that the consistent support of the Pakistani people remains the backbone of national strength, dignity, and progress.
The forum strongly warned against attempts to create divisions between the armed forces and the public, reiterating that such efforts would not be tolerated under any circumstances. It also appreciated the special development initiatives undertaken by the Balochistan government, stating that these measures address governance-related factors linked to terrorism through social engagement and development.
Participants stressed that similar initiatives should be adopted in other regions to ensure long-term peace and stability. The conference also reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination and their legitimate struggle.
On international issues, the forum reiterated Pakistan’s principled stance on Palestine, calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, unhindered humanitarian access, and a credible pathway toward the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
Concluding the conference, the army chief directed all commanders to uphold the highest standards of operational readiness, discipline, training, innovation, and professionalism to meet present and future challenges.
