Asad Qaiser: “If They Don’t Let Us Live, They Won’t Let You Live Either”

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser has issued a stern warning, stating that attempts to “wall up” the party or restrict its activities will affect the broader public as well. Addressing party workers in Swabi, he said, “Meeting the founder of PTI is our constitutional and legal right. We are being walled up, and if they do not let us live, they will not let you live either.”

Asad Qaiser highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), saying the province has historically been a victim of terrorism and has suffered significant losses due to the Afghan war. He criticised the federal government for failing to recognize KPK’s sacrifices and treating the province like a “stepmother.”

On regional relations, he stressed that Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran are “brotherly Muslim countries” whose issues should be resolved through dialogue. He further encouraged the continued efforts of countries like Qatar and Turkey to bring peace to the region, and called on Saudi Arabia and China to contribute to ending conflicts and promoting stability along Pakistan’s borders.

Asad Qaiser’s statements reflect the PTI’s continued emphasis on both domestic political rights and regional diplomacy, highlighting KPK’s unique challenges and Pakistan’s role in fostering peace with its neighbors.
