Balochistan: Deadly Bus Crash, Three Bodies Found in Kalat

On Tuesday, Two tragic incidents claimed lives in Balochistan. A bus accident in Mastung left three people dead and over 30 injured, while the bullet-riddled bodies of three brothers were discovered in Kalat.

The first incident occurred on the Quetta-Karachi highway in the Lakpass area of Mastung district when a Karachi-bound passenger coach from Quetta lost control, reportedly while avoiding a motorcyclist. The speeding coach overturned, resulting in three fatalities. More than 30 others, including women and children, sustained injuries in the accident. Police and rescue teams responded swiftly, transporting the injured and deceased to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, in the Johan area of Kalat district, Levies Force officials recovered the bodies of three brothers who had been brutally killed. Locals reported finding three bodies in the Namak area of tehsil Johan, which were later identified as Sharifullah, Azmatullah, and Sohrab, sons of Habibullah and members of the Lehri tribe. Hospital authorities confirmed that the victims had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, causing their immediate deaths. Initial estimates suggest the bodies were at least two days old.

After medico-legal procedures, the bodies were handed over to their family. Although a case has been registered, the motive remains unknown, and the family has not yet identified any suspects.

Both incidents have shocked the Balochistan region, underscoring concerns over road safety and public security. Authorities are actively investigating to uncover further details and provide justice to the victims’ families.
