Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain Re-Elected as President of Muslim League-Q

In the recently concluded intra-party elections of the Muslim League-Q, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has been re-elected as the president, while Chaudhry Salik Hussain has been elected as the vice president. Tariq Hussain has been appointed as the central secretary general, and Chaudhry Shafi Hussain has been elected as the general secretary. All positions were filled unopposed.

The intra-party elections took place during a meeting of the central general council of the party, which was chaired by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. The meeting saw the participation of members from all four provinces, Islamabad, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

In addition to the leadership elections, Dr. Muhammad Amjad was appointed as the chief organizer, and Ghulam Mustafa Malik was made the central secretary for information.

During the meeting, the party condemned the ongoing atrocities against Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine, reiterating its commitment to standing in solidarity with the affected communities.

The general council also strongly condemned the rising wave of terrorism in the country and expressed support for the Pakistan Army, Rangers, and police for their efforts in combating terrorism and maintaining peace and security.
